Welcome to my art club!
I'm an art teacher who's probably a little too passionate about the power of art, creativity, and community.
I believe everyone deserves the chance to make art, regardless of their experience or financial situation. And while there are endless free tutorials online, they can't replace the joy of slowing down, making something with your hands, and sharing it with real people.
That's why I created The Artzine Club—a little mail club that gives us a reason to unplug, build a creative hobby, and connect through art, one happy envelope at a time.
What is The Artzine Club?
The Artzine Club is an art mail club.
Every month you'll get a mini newsletter filled with foundational art lessons and creative art projects and little extras.
You’ll also get a pen pal starter kit which includes stamps (US only) and stickers to start your own pen pal relationship.
You can always send me your artwork for feedback. I’ll write back!
Who can join?
Anyone who wants a relaxing hobby and less screen-time.
It’s for the kid who wants to learn skills to be an artist when they grow up and it’s for the grown up who wants to be a kid again. I think the target age range is pre-teen through adult. But kids who are super talented will enjoy it too.
Do I need to be an artist to join?
You need be ready to become an artist!
For those of you who already know how to draw, you’ll advance your skills. All lessons are based on the foundations of art.
